Set in a peaceful location on the quiet by-road leading from Dunster to Minehead which is approximately 2 miles away, we are within easy strolling distance of Dunster village centre where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, public houses, tea shops and the Exmoor Park Visitor Centre.

We can offer off street parking if required; secure storage for bicycles; drying facilities, travel cot and high chair available upon request.

Sorry, no dogs.

The Butter Cross

The house is named after the Butter Cross itself, the famous medieval stone market cross dating from the late 14th to early 15th century. Once a meeting place in the High Street for the exchange of butter it has been re-sited adjacent to the house and is today managed by English Heritage.
